General Laborer - Pipe Shop Job at Kokosing Industrial
Summary:
We are seeking a mechanically-inclined General Laborer for our Pipe Shop in Fredericktown.
Our 50,000 sq ft fabrication facility is ASME and National Board accredited. Our highly skilled team of certified pipe welders, project engineers and supervision provide custom pipe spool fabrication and modular skid assembly.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Any construction experience is a plus.
- Ability to follow directions and a true willingness to want to learn in this craft.
- Mechanically-inclined and self-motivated.
- Able to handle basic hand tools.
- Welding experience is not required but is a plus.
- Interest in wanting to learn how to weld
- Light or heavy handling.
- Project housekeeping.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to apply and retain information provided in crew meetings.
- Must be able to understand directions/instructions on methods/process to do work.
- Must be able to maintain high level of awareness for a busy project work environment.
