General Laborer/Groundskeeper Job at Northwest Airport Management
SUMMARY:
This position is primarily responsible for keeping grounds of airport and providing physical labor for construction projects in neat and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates company vehicles in a safe manner in accordance with safety policy manual.
- Reports any equipment/vehicles problems or concerns to supervisor immediately.
- Plants, transplants, fertilizes, sprays with pesticides, prunes, cultivates, and waters flowers, shrubbery, and trees.
- Seeds and mows lawns, rakes leaves, and keeps ground free of other debris.
- Whitewashes or paints around the property.
- Maintains quality standards on each project.
- Communicates all pertinent job-related information to supervisor on a daily basis.
- Reports any job site problems/concerns to supervisor as soon as possible.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Reports all occupational injuries or illnesses to supervisor immediately.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
Pay increase available based on performance at 90 day and 180 day review.
Employees must be 21 years of age.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Less than high school education; some experience required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 per hour
