General Laborer will be responsible for performing routine duties associated with the day-to-day activities of the Concierge Team. Duties include, but not limited to: Manual labor, event set-up and tear-down activities, compliance with equipment handling guidelines, furniture storage, general housekeeping duties, and such other duties as required by the workplace experience team.

TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Extensive walking throughout the facility and facility grounds.

2. Lift moderate to heavy amounts of weight in the form of tables, desks, chairs, stanchions, staging and step units.

3. Push equipment carts, door panels, and staging/step units as required.

4. Cleaning storage rooms and maintaining equipment place in public spaces, meeting rooms, or other areas.

5. Walking, standing, sitting, stooping, and lifting objects as required.

6. Implementation of basic cleaning and organization methods as required in the maintenance of various rooms and event spaces.

7. Completion of tasks assigned in compliance with basic safety guidelines.

8. Completion of tasks and daily assignments as assigned in a cooperative manner.

9. Perform general manual labor associated with set-up, maintenance, as required.

10. Maintain public image of the meeting rooms and common spaces at all times.

11. Such other duties, functions, special projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the Workplace Ambassador and Concierge team.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

The General Laborer shall perform day-to-day assignments and routines in a cooperative manner, interact with other employees within guidelines established by Flagship Facility Services. They shall follow instructions as required and be knowledgeable of policies regarding safety as to working procedures and conditions upon the premises of MBUSA. As a highly visible employee, the General Laborer shall maintain the public image of The Workplace as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to demonstrate basic set-up techniques with a working knowledge of set-up principles, procedures, and equipment use.

2. Ability to demonstrate basic cleaning techniques.

3. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and perform heavy labor.

4. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to work occasionally overtime.

2. Ability to work flexible hours.

3. Professional work attire.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
