GENERAL CONTRACTING CARPENTER Job at Trison Construction
Description:
The primary purpose of the Carpenter is to complete rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including commercial drywall, metal stud framing, doors, frames, and hardware.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Prepare the layout of the project.
- Constructs, remodels, retrofits and repairs interior and exterior structures made of various materials, specifically drywall.
- Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
- Select necessary materials needed to complete project
- Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
- Work various types of materials, such as drywall
- Utilize necessary tools, such as, saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Experience building office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and/or institutional facilities
- Informed and committed to the implementation and enforcement of safety programs
- Possess communication skills
