General Cleaner Job at Axela Management
This position involves performing cleaning activities of the entire facility including, but not limited to, vacant apartments, office spaces, restrooms, laundry area and others, including cleaning tasks in accordance with all company safety policies
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs routine custodial duties to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, surface cleaning, sanitizing throughout the entire facility
- Restocking paper and soap and sanitizing supplies throughout the facility
- Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters and bags trash for proper disposal
- Uses common tools to perform housekeeping operations, including but not limited to: wet and dry mops, brooms, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, towels, steel wool, carts, and trash cans.
- Performs cleaning operations in the office areas, and other property areas as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Keeps restrooms clean and stocks them with supplies.
- Removes trash and other rubbish and places them in the proper refuse receptacles.
- Cleans windows.
- Performs dusting of furniture and building hardware as assigned.
- Relocates light furniture as required to properly clean assigned areas.
- Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of experience handling custodial and basic maintenance duties
- Experience in apartment complex or large facility preferred
- Proficient knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
