CHEER is looking to hire a Fund Development Coordinator! Duties of this position include:

  • Assist in the development of grant applications and funding solicitations by collecting and compiling information on CHEER programs and services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of annual and project specific capital campaigns
  • Administer routine annual fund-raising campaigns, such as United Way efforts. Administer, perform input and maintain CHEER’s Donor Perfect database program including recording funds received and pledged along with issuing recognition notices and generating reports as needed.
  • Assist with development, marketing and communication plans oriented toward development of income through grants and donations.
  • Participate with the CHEER Foundation to assist in the promotion endowments and gifts through estate planning.
  • Participate in on-going and multi-year strategies to secure funding for long term long term projects as well as shorter term smaller scale capital and operating projects.
  • Prepare reports and other documentation which may be required to maintain compliance with various funder’s regulatory or administrative requirements.
  • Update reports to CHEER Foundation, Board of Directors, and Funding Committee as may be requested by the CHEER senior management team.
  • Monitor regulatory / compliance requirements as they relate to funds/donations received or awarded to CHEER.
  • Coordinate CHEER Safety Committee communications (educational information, incident reports, and Safety meeting reports).
  • Perform other duties as deemed necessary in support of CHEER programs and services as well as CHEER clients served.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year

  • Fundraising: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
