Nurses have so many options but No Worries has a unique option and I would like to tell you about it.

I loved my job in the SICU but it required me to work every other weekend and I was a single Mom. I transferred to the Neurology Clinics and saw a need for reliable help so people could stay in their homes. This was in the early days of In-home Care. I started out with a traditional business model but that didn't work. No one wanted to attend traditional trainings. So, I went with my heart and we started having trainings at my home and we had a meal together. This was the start of relationships that became the foundation of No Worries. We became friends and we all found we could make work fun, supportive and rewarding in ways we never imagined (See our website for some of the stories).

As a nurse, I wanted the nurses to have all the time they needed with clients and not feel rushed. Our ratios are about 1 nurse to 15 clients.

I did not want nurses working out of their cars. Our nurses are in the office about 50% of the time so that we can work together as a Team.

I wanted everyone to be paid a respectful wage and I am happy to say that thanks to supportive clients we pay our caregivers the highest in town.

I did not have expertise in State, County and Insurance contracts so we focused on private pay and became a Boutique In-home care agency. What does "Boutique" mean? It means we have the freedom to respond to Client requests that range from flying a nurse to Florida to pick up a loved one for a family reunion or planning a wonderful trip to the coast for a Client before they have a big surgery.

The unique optional opportunity is for a full-time Monday-Friday nursing position with some after hours on call...remember that after hours on call is for nursing advice...usually a medication question or a change in health status. When there is a health emergency in the home we call 911. Sometimes there is confusion about In-home Care because half the States in the Country have In-home Care is combined with Home Health. In Oregon, In-home Care is separate and provides the ongoing care in the home. No Worries specializes in long-hours Clients and Caregiving shifts range from 8-12 hours with a few 6 hour shifts.

Showing appreciation to Caregivers is a top priority and has resulted in amazing retention. Just this month we celebrated our Scheduling Manager's 21st Anniversary and a Caregiver's 20th Anniversary.
