Full time CNA for Assisted Living Program, hours include evenings/weekends Job at Essex Meadows
If you are a motivated and organized CNA who is devoted to providing seniors with excellent care and unprecedented comfort, then join our team at Essex Meadows! As a CNA for our Assisted Living program you must be approachable as well as flexible and professional with staff, residents and family members.
This is a full time, 32 hours per week position. Shifts include evenings and weekends.
JOB REQUIREMENTS·
Takes vital signs as indicated.
Assists the client with personal care activities including bathing oral hygiene, feeding, dressing, toileting and grooming.
Assists the client with exercises, ambulation, transfer activities and supervision of self-administered medication including:
reminding clients to self-administer medications,
verifying that a client has self-administered their medications or
assisting the client with the self administration in the form of opening bottles, bubble packs or other forms of packaging if the client is not capable of performing this function.
Performs routine household services essential to client care at home, including shopping, meal preparation, laundry and housecleaning.
Assists with escorts to the dining room, beauty shop, physical therapy, activities, etc.
Makes visits to residents as assigned.
Keeps Supervisor informed of residents’ status.
