Full Stack Engineer II Job at RE/MAX, LLC
RE/MAX is fundamentally changing the real estate industry. As one of our engineers, you’ll help guide key design, architecture, and technology decisions. You will be a part of our platform team, helping us support our customer-facing and internal applications. This includes driving the product roadmap, bringing “design thinking” on product features, coordinating development efforts across the team, and working with teams to ensure that our efforts are aligned.
Essential Duties:
- Develop maintainable and reusable code using OOP methodologies
- Practice Test Driven Development
- Build REST API to support front end applications
- Identify ways to enhance the user experience
- Find creative solutions, work diligently, and address changes with confidence
- Actively work to build and maintain a positive team culture
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of full stack development experience
- Understanding of one of the following frameworks: NodeJs, Laravel, or Ruby on Rails
- Strong understanding of ES6+ and AngularJS, Angular 7, or React
- Strong understanding of semantic HTML5, Bootstrap, SASS, and CSS
- Build pages from comps using semantic markup and CSS
- Experience with PHP and Laravel
- Experience with TDD
- Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and Functional Programming
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with pair programming
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience with Vue.js
- Experience with Vagrant or Docker
- Project management with Jira
- Build tools such as Grunt and Angular-CLI
- CI/CD
- TDD using Jasmine
- Writing End to End tests with Protractor
Hire Range/Rate:
$90k - $110k
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location. The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package. Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility.
