Front Office Team Lead - Medical

WNCCHS is looking for a friendly and welcoming personality to join our growing medical front desk team. The full-time Front Office Team Lead is responsible for ensuring an efficient front desk operation and assisting the Supervisor in setting standards, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES Includes but not limited to the following:
- Facilitate the maintenance of express walk-in care scheduling and patient flow
- Assist front desk staff in the facilitation and maintenance of patient sliding fee analysis
- Assign patients with appointment check-in, registration, eligibility verification, copayment collection, confirm appointment, answer phones, assist with check-out
- Trains and orients all new Patient Service Representatives to the Front Desk as well as float staff
- Serve as a registration back-up for the mobile unit as needed
- Oversee the maintenance of the Administrative Services task board
- Coach front desk staff through challenging customer service issues
- Assist in staff recruitment, interviewing and retention
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of two (2) years of front desk experience
- Proficiency with necessary technology, including phone systems and electronic medical record, and payer websites
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to coach and mentor staff
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work and serve as a resource to staff in a fast-paced frond desk environment
- Bilingual in Spanish, or another language strongly preferred

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
