Compensation
- $18-$24 an Hour Depending on Experience
- Quarterly Bonus based on performance metrics
- 2 weeks paid vacation after 6 months of service
- $1000 sign on bonus paid after 90 days
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports to the General Manager (GM)
- 50/50 direct labor and management, will bar tend and serve, collects tips when working in a serving capacity
- Manage Liquor compliance records, licensing, and certifications
- Manage video gaming compliance records, licensing, and certifications
- Mange staff (10+ direct reports) o Develop, publish and maintain schedule based on labor budget o Develop and maintain training matrices o Coordinate hiring and accountability o Recommend updates to the employee handbook
- Manage quality o Manage customer experience by having oversite of staff etiquette o Manage, update, and give oversite to opening and closing checklists that direct reports are responsible for executing o Manage and maintain the drinks menu and specials offerings, ensure that drink menu pricing is correct against the POS pricing o Respond to all customer complaints in person and online
- Manage responsiveness o Coordinate event details with the GM and publish major and minor events to an online calendar for ownership transparency and team planning o Alarm and escalate maintenance issues that require GM, ownership, or maintenance manager assistance o Execute all planning elements of “Minor Events” including but not limited to DJ’s, customer events, dart leagues, pool leagues, open mic nights, bingo, trivia, sports specials, etc.
- Manage cost o Execute weekly inventory orders based on manager-controlled inventory levels maintain cost of goods (COG’s) budget
o Manage and give oversite to all Point of Sale (POS) discounts o Promote sales and coach staff on upselling. The Bar manager is responsible for driving and impacting sales by recommending promotions, specials, and being the face of the business service by engaging the public and driving traffic. Bar manager is responsible for sales metrics and monitoring daily sales goals and making the staff aware
Experience
- Must have o 3-5 years serving and/or bartending o 2+ years managing people (in any capacity) o Customer service (in any capacity) o Balancing and maintaining a cash register
- Nice to have o Liquor and gaming compliance experience o Previously employed in a management capacity in food service o Event planning formally or informally
Skills
- Email usage and etiquette
- Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- POS system usage (Touch Bistro experience a plus)
- App based employee scheduling system (7Shifts experience a plus)
- Speaking to people and coordinating meetings between outside services

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
