What you’ll be doing:

• Plan, design/architect, develop, deploy, and maintain complex web applications
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team to ensure quality and consistency
• Communicate with clients and co-workers (including non-programmers) to determine requirements for new features
• Problem solving - Test code, find and fix bugs
• Integrate with web services (APIs)
• Automate common tasks, improve processes and procedures
• Document code for usage and maintainability

Technology Overview / Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, JSON.
• Frameworks: Vue.js, React.
• Tools/Systems: NPM, Node.js, Express, server-side rendering.
• Process: Git, GitLab, CI/CD, PowerShell. (Agile/scrum methodology, and ability to work collaboratively as a team member and advisor)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

Skills providing extra value:

• Content management system development experience
• Cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS, Cloudflare) hosting and management experience
• Headless CMS experience
• Ecommerce development experience
• Application security interest/experience
• Project management experience
• Previous firm/agency/fast-paced experience
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
