WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Greet customers with a warm welcome, respond to guest requests with appropriate action, and provide accurate information and service.
  • Utilizing a variety of computer systems, run daily reports, input guest reservations, and select and block pre-assigned rooms for arriving guests. Communicate with internal personnel. Communicate with guests via E-mail, messenger, text and phone.
  • Authorize credit card and post charges to guest rooms and house accounts.
  • Answer the telephone and receive guests' deliveries.
  • Handle guest interactions politely with utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible and reconciling complaints.
  • Remain calm and alert during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.
  • Input special arrangements and assure proper billing.
  • Close guest accounts at time of check out.

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus two years’ experience at a luxury boutique hotel as a Concierge, Front Desk Agent, Guest Service Agent or related position.
  • In addition to the hotel experience, professionalism, efficiency, sophistication and poise are essential traits for this dynamic candidate.
  • Must speak fluent English. Other language proficiency is appreciated.
  • Represent the hotel well. Promote teamwork and quality service.
  • Carry or lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Must be flexible with schedule – ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Comply with hotel grooming, appearance and attire standards.
