Our mission is to accelerate business adoption of electric vehicle fleets. Electric vehicles are superior for just about every business use-case and businesses are adopting EVs quickly. Standard Fleet wants to set the standard in EV Fleet Management Software.

Standard Fleet is a team of passionate transportation enthusiasts who are excited about the electrification of transportation and are impatient about making our products better. We come from companies like Apple, Stripe, Embark, & Yelp. We’ve already gained significant customer traction with a small team and want your help to grow faster.

Standard Fleet is well-funded and backed by top Silicon Valley investors. We were founded by David Hodge, the CEO of Embark. At Embark, the team built a popular transportation App used by millions and eventually sold to Apple.

What we're looking for

Standard Fleet is seeking talented individuals who want to accelerate the world toward the electric vehicle future. You'll be an early engineer defining the future of electric mobility and be able to empower thousands of businesses to switch to Electric Vehicles. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of a nascent market with enormous growth ahead of it.

This is a rare founding engineer role with significant scope and equity.

Responsibilities

• Expand our vehicle support to bring in more non-Tesla EV’s along to the connected EV future

• 10X the scale of our data systems, rebuilding many systems along the way

• Build out the backend systems for “Fleetweb”

• Work directly with the CEO daily on engineering, product

Qualifications

• We don’t believe in qualification checkboxes for engineers. These often end up causing great candidates to think they’re not qualified. If you think you can help us scale up our backend systems to handle our growth, let’s talk and see if we’re a fit.
