JOB DESCRIPTION
Southeastern Food Merchandisers is a currently looking to fill the position of forklift operator.
Interested applicants must be competent operating a stand-up forklift. NO SIT-DOWN forklifts.
- Must be able to safely operate an industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments in all areas (freezer, cooler and dry) of the warehouse.
- Must be able to accurately identify and transport material to and from storage areas into the correct warehouse pick slots.
- Must be competent in safely operating the forklift/high lift to lower stock to ground level pick-level slots from higher level reserve slots.
- Responsible for replenishing pick slots with products from reserve slots to always maintain adequate inventory levels for selectors.
PAY & BENEFITS
Up to $18 per hour after 90-days.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or state issued GED.
Job related certification for material handling equipment.
Must past a pre-hire background check.
HOURS
Full time 9:00 p.m. until end of shift. Shift end times may vary.
