JK Boots is looking for an energetic footwear and customer service associate to perform and oversee daily operations of one our store locations. Our ideal candidate will have a background in retail, customer service, and sales. This is a hourly position; must be willing and able to accommodate the community by being present during normal business hours. Must be incredibly open to serving each customer and have the ablity for self manage. This will be a one person position, and generally you will be running the storefront alone: depending on the demands of the community, another employee may be added.

Military and trades work experience is a plus.

A successful associate will have a passion for time management, workplace organization, inter-customer/coworker communication and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct walk-in customers.
• Boot fitting and processing of stock and custom boot orders.
• Shipping and receiving boot repair and new boot orders.
• General store upkeep.
• Light inventory and shipping work.
• Interact with customers via phone and email.
• Responding to social media.
• Process returns and exchanges.
• Maintain cash drawer and bank deposits.
• Regular communication with main store and other satellites.

Lace Test:

Candidates must pass a lace test. Candidates must display that they are physically able to hold, tie, and lace up a pair of boots in a timely and controllable manner. This will be done on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
