Food Service Worker (part-time) Job at Westmoreland Manor
Westmoreland Manor is seeking part-time Food Service Workers in our dietary services department at the rate of $15.00 per hour! We are looking for energetic, quick-learners who are able to work in a fast-paced kitchen and cafeteria environments! This position requires variable shift availability, weekends and holidays included!
The purpose of this position is to maintain the sanitary condition of the kitchen and the equipment therein.
Job duties include but are not exclusive or all-inclusive:
- Working meal tray assembly line
- Loading and transporting food to resident floors
- Cleaning assigned areas including dishes, tables, kitchen equipment, etc.
- Maintaining sanitary condition of the kitchen and equipment
Part-time employees are entitled to pro-rated vacation hours based on how many hours they work! Employees are also eligible to view and bid on full-time positions.
Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience in food service and/or long-term care facility preferred. ServSafe certification a plus. Must possess the ability to push/pull equipment, transport carts, climb ladders, and ride elevators as required.
Vaccination Notice: Per CMS requirements, Westmoreland Manor requires all new hires and employees to submit proof of full vaccination with one of the four authorized COVID-19 vaccines; this vaccination is considered a condition of employment for all employees. Newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated or approved for a religious or medical accommodation by Westmoreland Manor prior to starting employment.
