Food Service Worker - Dining Services Team Member Job at Your Best Interviews
As a member of the award winning Grinnell College Dining Hall our dining services team members will be responsible for replenishing, maintaining, and cleaning food venues. Additionally, the dining services team members will have the opportunity to prepare student orders at various Marketplace venues. The team will be afforded the opportunity to gain exposure to a multitude of food preparations and develop professionally, by attaining certifications through continued education and on the job training. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Refilling beverage dispensers with milk or juices and/ or ice cream machine
- Assist within the dishroom
- Maintain Federal, State, and College Safety and Sanitation Standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or 4 years or experience is required
- Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Six months or more experience in commercial food services or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise
- Serve Safe Certificate
Schedule Expectations:
- 4 days on with a 10 hour shift (this could change, must work one weekend day) or 5 days on with an 8 hour shift (one of the shift days will be a Saturday or Sunday)
- One of the 4 days must be a Saturday or Sunday shift
- We work to provide a set schedule to help you have a predictable schedule
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
