Food Service Support Job at BSA Summit Group
- NOTE: This is NOT a Compass/Eurest position
Reports To: Chef Manager, Eurest
Direct Supervisor: Director of Hospitality Services, SBR
Principle Responsibilities:
- Help support our daily dining operations in our dining facilities.
- Assist in food prep for meals.
- Assist with food serving at mealtimes.
- Maintain the cleanliness standards of Eurest and the Summit Bechtel Reserve. This includes "clean, set, ready for meals", "clean as you go", assisting with FOH & BOH cleanliness, assisting in the dish area (as needed).
- Follow all kitchen safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Training:
- Must be a team player.
- Must ALWAYS be helpful, friendly, courteous, and kind.
- Punctuality is a must.
- Must be 18 years or older for this position.
- Must be able to follow detailed directions/instructions. Strong communication skills needed.
- Must obtain the WV Food Handler's Certificate.
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds.
- Must meet the Summit Bechtel Reserve's high adventure height/weight requirements as laid out in the Summit BSA Health & Medical Record.
Uniform:
- SBR blue polo (clean, not stained) - provided
- Head covering
- Apron when working with food.
- Long Pants/Jeans
- Slip-Resistant Shoes
Housing:
- 10x12' Platform Tent; Foxtrot Base Camp Staff Area
- Local Employees: Personal Residence
