Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) Supervisor Job at Salad and Go

Salad and Go was founded in 2013 in Gilbert, Arizona. The company currently operates 80+ stores across Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Oklahoma and growing.
This is a regular, full-time exempt (salaried) position located at our Food Production Facility: 625 S 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. The FSQA Supervisor must be available to work 5 days per week, including both weekdays and weekends. You won't have to work every weekend as our supervisors rotate. Additionally, you must have the ability to work shifts during the 6am to 6pm timeframe.
As a FSQA Supervisor, you will:
- Manage schedules for FSQA technicians
- Perform weekly / monthly audits of food safety at the facility and develop corrective actions, including following up with different departments to verify work complete
- Develop SOP’s and training programs based on SOP’s
- Maintain inventories of Food Safety and Quality Management items
- Develop weekly reports on KPI’s of Food Safety, Safety, and training
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably in the food processing industry
- Must display excellent understanding of sanitation practices and effectiveness of verification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
- English/Spanish speaking
- Familiarity with BRC, FSMA, HACCP, HARPC, SQF, FDA, USDA
- Experience in Produce and RTE Food manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge in microbiology/chemistry of food products
