Position Scope
Work closely with the Food Safety and Quality Manager in monitoring, quantifying, and filing all necessary HACCP, USDA and FDA and other documentation.
Essential Functions
Knowledge and Skills
Must be able to read and write in English
Basic knowledge of Food Safety Handling, HACCP guidelines
Strong communication skills (oral and written)
Computer skills – Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Supervisory Responsibility
Employee will not be responsible for managing staff but will occasionally train and counsel staff on food safety handling and standard operating procedures.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move 10- 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Full-time. Workdays and shifts may vary.
Employee will be exposed to varying temperatures, including cold refrigeration (38 degrees).

Essential Functions
- Ensure personal safety, food safety and quality protocols are followed.
- Check daily food racks for allergen & date labeling.
- Ensure all food racks are covered.
- Comply with all HACCP and Flying Food Group sanitation and proper food handling policies and procedures.
- Check FIFO daily.
- Advise supervisor if food is 72 hours old, must dispose of food after 72 hours must document and must document on waste log after advising supervisor.
- Professionally handle minor, employee disputes regarding working procedures.
- Work with FSQ Manager on various projects including internal and external audits.
