Floor Technician Job at Thousand Hills Vacations
The Opportunity:
The Floor Technician will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Floor Techs will remove spots from carpets, perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning, dispose of trash and assist with cleaning of windows. Floor Techs will operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, and vacuum cleaners.
Primary Responsibilities:
Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties under the direction and guidance of the Operations Manager
Sweep and mop floors
Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
Clean or shampoo carpets
Clean grout and other hard surface floors
Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
Maintain equipment and supplies
Follow workplace safety standards
Requirements and Skills Needed:
High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience required
Valid driver's license
Physical stamina
Attention to detail
