The Financial Services Support Associate works with financial representatives to deliver financial security to their clients through a comprehensive planning process that integrates risk and investment products. Associates assist financial representatives in a non-client facing, administrative capacity, helping increase productivity by providing planning and integrated operations support.

The Financial Services Support Associate works as part of the larger Financial Services Support Team, under the Manager Partner, supporting multiple financial representatives.

Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

Operations Support

  • Client service and account updates
  • Client record management (i.e., documentation, notes, etc.)
  • Create and send out correspondence

Planning, Sales, and Service Support

  • Make appointment confirmation/reminder calls
  • Monitor and work with representatives to resolve service issues
  • Maintain compliant electronic client files
  • Prepare and review applications for submission
  • Monitor underwriting requirements and work with reps, clients, and underwriters to gather requirements during the underwiring process
  • Prepare documents for client delivery
  • Assist with Client onboarding and opening new investment accounts

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong customer relationship and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with others
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a professional office setting
  • Committed to professional development (e.g. licensing, registration, designations)
  • Embraces and adapts well to change

Preferred / willing to work toward

  • Life, Accident & Health insurance licenses
  • Series 6 or 7, and 63

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.25 - $22.00 per hour
