Come join us as a Financial Risk Management Specialist, where under the AT – Financial Management, you will contribute to the Anti-Money Laundering Program (AML), Identity Theft Red Flag Program, Foreign Asset Control Program (OFAC), and the Fraud Loss Prevention function to mitigate the loss to the Credit Union and its members and to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (as it pertains to Identity Theft Red Flag). Perform due diligence to identify and report suspicious activity and monitors programs to ensure Credit Union compliance and integrity.
- Performs account analysis to detect money laundering or other financial crimes.
- Investigates fraud cases, and document case data in case management software.
- Monitors ancillary reports and applications to detect and prevent fraud.
- Reviews automated fraud alert data, and documents and resolves cases.
- Performs ongoing enhanced due diligence reviews on designated AML high-risk entities.
- Prepares case documentation for Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). Prepares and submits reports to Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
- Prepares reports and tracks analytics.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
One year of related experience is required. Associate’s degree required, or high school diploma or equivalent with professional certification; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
