M Financial Planning Analyst

The Financial Planning Analyst will share in the responsibility of ensuring the accurate reporting to ensure the financial health of Carolina Acquisition Partners (CAP) and subsidiary companies.
They will serve as a key player in all future acquisitions and make detailed recommendations on the financial health of the potential acquisitions during the due-diligence process. KEY RESULT AREAS

● Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and collaboratively communicating the information to key stakeholders.

● Works collaboratively with Portfolio Managers to help them understand financial data and identify trends and recommend improvements.

● Responsible for creating variance analysis reports and financial models, and leads real-time financial reporting monitoring.

● Responsible for reviewing financial reporting and conducting financial analysis, of all potential acquisitions and making recommendations based upon the analysis.

● Recommends strategies for increasing financial wellness of all portfolio companies, and works collaboratively to ensure strategies are implemented.

● Serves as a core values advocate and role model.
● Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field, or equivalent work experience. A
Masters degree is preferred.

● Minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
● Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.

LOCATION

Carolina Acquisition Partners (CAP) has strategic partnerships with various organizations that allows us to gain efficiencies for the businesses we acquire, manage, and grow, subsequently providing an expeditious ROI for our lenders.. The main office is located in High
Point, NC. The Financial Analyst position has the ability to maintain a hybrid work schedule with the ability to come into the corporate office on an as needed basis.
