Epic is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the quality control of data inputs and reporting templates used for financial reporting and analysis. The Corporate Financial Analyst will report directly to the Epic VP of Finance and will have significant interaction with other functions such as controllership and operations.
- Monthly financial statements preparation
- Provides quality control (version, updates, cohesiveness) on data inputs from all division controllers in the preparation of the financial statements. Main keeper of all final versions of data inputs and final reports and supporting schedules.
- Consolidates individual subsidiaries’ trial balances using consolidation template for income statement and balance sheet
- Reconciliation of individual subsidiaries’ reported earnings before interest, taxes and depreciation to reported net income on the consolidation template
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany accounts, including investment accounts.
- Improve current financial reporting templates, including creating detailed procedures on report extraction, data auto-updates, audit trails, and summarization.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and data analysis requested by the management team
- Must be willing to work night shift and extended hours for special projects
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of BS Accountancy or related courses. CPA is preferred but not required
- At least 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting such as complex consolidation, variance analysis, budget model, in multi-company environment
- US GAAP accounting knowledge
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision on all deliverables
- Intermediate to Advance level of Microsoft Excel skills (experience with pivot tables, complex formula, workbook audit, data cleansing, and formatting)
- Can work well at different levels of the organization
- Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
