Job Summary: Responsible for supporting the CFO in the financial planning, accounting, decision support and overall accountability for all Financial activities at New Orleans East Hospital (NOEH). Responsible for the production of the NOEH Financial Statements both internal and external. Responsible for information exchange with NOEH external auditors and various stakeholders. Responsible for the NOEH intercompany reporting activities. Independently makes decisions that could seriously affect the overall division and/or NOEH's financial objectives, performance objectives and strategic results. Support the CFO in training of facility leaders and the overall development of the facility wide budget. Demonstrates actions consistent with LCMC's Expectations as duties are performed on a daily basis.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years of related experience in auditing, public accounting and/or healthcare accounting
• Bachelors Degree - Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
• Proficiency in mainframe or PC based accounting and analytics and support systems
• Use of various software packages, including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint, or the equivalent

Preferred/Desired:

• 5 years in healthcare accounting
• Master's degree - Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA
