Senior Finance Manager, NAM Center of Excellence


We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to supervise all financial tasks of our NAM Group, whilst ensuring high quality, responsive service, and strong business partnership.


The head of finance for NAM Center of Excellence (COE) is part of a Global Controlling organization ensuring all accounting activities comply with US and Local regulations. His responsibilities include US financial reporting, statutory accounts management, process optimization, engagement with business partners and varied service-based activities.


What you will do

  • Lead, manage and develop all finance and accounting operations of NAM COE delivering high quality accounting services and service performance metrics
  • Manage and develop NAM COE team in a cooperative, fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong project management skills to drive Finance transformation processes for NAM and being able to act as a Change agent
  • Partnership with the offshore Dover shared service to ensure performance and service standards are met
  • Ensure high quality and timely financial information is provided to the Group, FP&A Team, and Operations functions
  • Provide leadership and manage financial activities including Local & US GAAP reporting (month end and ad hoc), financial analysis, credit control, accounts payables and receivables, inventory & cost control, tax matters
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Responsible for Statutory and Tax Filings working closely with auditors, Dover group and external consultants, ensure all obligations are fulfilled accurately and on time
  • Manage all Compliance and SOX related matters of the area
  • Business partnering with commercial teams
  • Manage the area's working capital with focus on reducing Past due and improving DSO
  • Network with other Global COE Managers to share best practices, service levels and business partner connections
  • Support team development plans by implementing methods and trainings across the team
  • Proactive ambassador of company’s missions and values


What you need to have:

  • Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, or similar role
  • 12+ years of related finance experience including management of managers in international corporate environment and within a matrix organization
  • Strong US gap knowhow and local gaps management
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Drive for improvements on financials and processes
  • Working experience within SAP and in a Shared Service environment (either company captive or outsourced)

Work Arrangement : Hybrid

Salary Range : $150,000.00 - $170,000.00
