SunPlus Data Group is looking for a Field Tech Support (IT) to work for a State Government facility in Madison, WI.
This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend
Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week
Pay is $34/hr W2 hourly or $38/hr 1099 (CTC)
**(THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE ONLY, MANDATORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) **
It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, just so that you are aware of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.
Job Summary:
The State of WI is seeking a Field Tech Support (IT) with documented experience. The Field Tech Support (IT) will maintain a working knowledge of our internal computer system.
- The technician will repair and maintain thousands of desktops, laptops, and other PCs.
- They will also install new PCs and laptops to replace the end-of-life cycle equipment. The technician will do those tasks while maintaining inventory and adequately disposing of outdated equipment by recycling those items per DOC policies.
- The technician will also maintain and close work orders in the DOC ticketing system. The technician receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure, and methodology are followed.
