An employer is looking to hire a field technician in Houston, TX that will be covering outskirts of Houston as well. The Field Technicians will be working on cell site integration with the commission team at the client. They need to be able to go on site, connect to the network, and troubleshoot issues while also providing integration support. They need basic understanding of platforms used at cell sites and they will be trained on how sites function / how the network is laid out along with the different frequencies used at each location as these differ from site to site. This requires 75% travel within the area.
Must-haves
3+ years experience as field technician
Basic/General Knowledge of Network Operations, AAV Upgrade deployment, router upgrades, battery systems, work order, and trouble ticketing systems and quality control methodology.
Solid understanding of theory and application related to project management, radio access networks, backhaul to sites, signaling, disaster recovery planning and response, data services, and location-based services
Wireless Network experience.
High school diploma
Comfortable traveling 75% of time in surrounding area.

Fiber sweep/troubleshooting experience
Small Cell experience
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
