This position is located in Pecos, TX in support of Human and Health Services Contract.
Responsibilities:
- PC, MAC, Phone and Laptop expertise needed to perform the duties of this position.
- Receiving assets.
- Moving equipment within and/or between facilities.
- Staging equipment for build/image activity.
- Interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery.
- Executing equipment replacement activity.
- Updating asset management system to reflect work performed.
- Monitoring daily activity.
- Installing and maintaining PC hardware and software.
- Troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals.
- Performing system backups and data recovery.
- Resolving network communication problems independently.
- E-mail administration.
- Disk capacity monitoring and network security.
- Preparing assets for disposition.
- Other administrative duties.
- Responsible for all deployment, downloads, doing local installations.
- Experience with PC support, including deployment.
- Experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to use tools to execute PC activity, MS Office suite /Outlook experience.
- Experience with direct client interaction.
- Experience managing incoming and outgoing assets, including preparing stems for deployment and customized configuration.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is required.
- 1-2 years experience.
- Has demonstrated knowledge and work history in computer support or deployment of Computer systems.
- Has demonstrated experience in configuring laptops/computers/printers/mobile phones.
- Experience with Mobile Radio's desired (but not required)
- Has knowledge of basic network settings to include wireless configurations.
- Has strong troubleshooting skills.
- Has demonstrated work history supporting strong communication skills both written and oral on technical topics.
- Can function successfully as a member of a team.
- Background or additional certifications are desired (but not required) in at least one of the following preferred:
- Cisco
- Dell
- HP
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
- A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required
- The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
