Primary Responsibilities:
- On-site maintenance and repair of MFP’s and printer related products in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain current technical knowledge.
- Manage and maintain a territory of customers with the ability to work independently and meet timeliness expectations/deadlines.
- Maintain and complete accurate record keeping and processing of paperwork.
- Maintain all company issued tools, computers, phones, etc.
- Use diagnostic tools, service aids, and product schematics to assess and resolve equipment and system failures.
- Attend meetings as necessary or required.
- Complete required online, in-house, and/or off-site training as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Field Service Technician Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of direct related copier/printer experience preferably with Sharp, Brother, Dell/Lexmark, and HP along with functional and technical knowledge of networking.
- Field service experience in the office equipment industry.
- Intermediate computer and networking skills.
- Strong electrical/mechanical skills or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills to assist in problem solving.
- Strong teamwork and customer relations skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manually lift up to 50lbs.
- Physically capable of walking, standing, stooping, and/or kneeling for 50% of your shift.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent – technical degree in electronics a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct related copier/printer repair experience.
- Copier/Printer certifications a plus.
