This position is located in Lovelock, NV
The of the Field Operator is to preform operational task in the field to support the Control Room Operator and Operations Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
- Complete area workplace exams for process areas as directed by the Shift Supervisor
- Monitor, adjust and troubleshoot process equipment as directed by the control room
- Responsible for inventory and management of stock in the Kanban systems for consumable equipment related items; screens, balls, boots etc.,
- Responsible for autonomous maintenance of process equipment including assisting maintenance with preventative maintenance task
- Responsible for timely process sampling and submission of samples to the lab for testing
- Responsible for general housekeeping of process areas
- Assist in railcar movement, staging and management as directed by the supervisor
- Assist in troubleshooting packaging equipment
- Cross train in the Control Room and Perlite
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor
- Experience, Knowledge, Skills Required
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- Computer skills – experience with Barcom and IFS
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (multi-tasking skills a must).
- Pay attention to quality and detail.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
