FIELD ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN - La Belle Job at RADISE International
We are Hiring!!!
Our Fort Myers/La Belle Project Office Site has 2 full-time CMT Field Tech positions available.
The positions are responsible for field sampling, testing and inspection of soils, aggregates and concrete, and field inspection of miscellaneous construction activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Following work and testing procedures using equipment and tools.
- Complete forms with instrument readings.
- Complete reports for external clients and internal use.
- Enter test results data into computer system per the process.
- Explain testing results and reports as needed internally and externally.
- Following safety protocol.
Requirements
- High school diploma / GED and 2 to 5+ years experience in Public and Private material testing and inspection services.
Pay rate is commensurate with experience and certs
- ACI, FDOT and CTQP Certifications in earthworks and concrete, as appropriate. Company will pay for certifications, as needed.
Experience working on construction sites.
- Flexibility: Will work outdoors as a Field Technician at job site, ability to work weekends and extended hours for overtime (OT) pay, when required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Travel will be required to work at remote sites in Florida - La Bell, FL
- Good driving record within company standards - pass company background checks including drug screen and driving record.
- Local candidates preferred, but relocation will be considered for right candidate
