Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is looking forward to our 2023 Faire season! Join us as a Security Team Member!
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will run every weekend and select school days from August 19 - October 29..
The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will provide a uniform shirt and Employee Handbook. This is a Seasonal Part-Time position.
Duties:
- Report hazardous conditions, help lost children, and keep general order among patrons.
- Notify armed security when conditions are beyond control.
- Provide friendly and quality customer service to our patrons by answering and offering suggestions.
- Check weapons to ensure they are "peace-tied" and check IDs for age for alcohol purchases inside the park.
- Provide and maintain a positive, professional image.
- Handle minor customer complaints with understanding.
- Hand-stamping patrons to return as they are leaving, if they wish to return later in the day.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess an ability to be assertive in their duties.
- Must possess ability to be customer-service oriented, friendly and motivated to provide necessary information and assistance to our valued patrons.
- Have steady transportation.
- Friendly and able to work well with others in fast-paced environment.
- Meet company grooming standards.
Working Conditions:
- Requires working mostly outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Requires standing for long periods of time and lifting 20 lbs or more, bending, and walking.
- Maintain a professional attitude even during times of high stress.
- Must be able to work long shifts on weekends and holidays.
