FC Lake County (located in Gurnee & Grayslake) is now hiring coaching staff for the 2022-23 season.
Our program has around 450 travel players per year with teams from U8 to U19, and is always looking to hire new staff to help take our team of coaches and teams of players to their next levels.
Coaching requirements include:
- USSF “E” / “Grassroots License” & two years for club coaching experience for U8 to U10
- USSF “D” or above & three years of club coaching experience for U11 to U13
- USSF “C” or above & four years of club coaching experience for U14 and above
Coaches should be highly motivated when on the field to transfer their enthusiasm and knowledge of the game, and well organized off the field to prepare training sessions and communicate with their teams in order to provide each player with the most positive soccer experience possible. All staff are provided age and ability specific curriculums along with seasonal development plans to follow, in our quest to develop our clubs playing philosophy across all age levels. Our teams compete in a wide variety of league (IYSA State Premiership, Midwest Conference, IWSL & YSSL) and tournaments (in state and out of state college showcase)
Additional benefits:
1. Our club has two age group Directors along with a Technical Director to help educate our staff by providing periodic game day and training session feedback, through coaching assessments using video analysis
2. Coaches are provided with financial assistance in their ongoing education should they wish to register for further USSF coaching education courses
3. All staff are provided with full Adidas apparel
4. Coaches are compensated at rates based on education and experience
