General Purpose:
Catholic Charities Diocese of Pueblo’s Fatherhood Program utilizes a two-generational (2Gen) approach to bolster whole family well-being. This program intends to perform specialized outreach to fathers with an open child welfare case, fathers with a child support obligation, fathers with children receiving Medicaid, single fathers, noncustodial fathers, fathers without a high school diploma, fathers participating in Head Start, fathers incarcerated and re-entering after incarceration, fathers with a history of involvement with the child welfare system, and unemployed fathers
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ability to Monitor and review while assisting with the design, organization, establishment and evaluation of work processes to ensure delivery of program services and to fulfill program objectives for the Fatherhood Program.
· Experience working with fathers within the human services field.
· Culturally effective capabilities for varying cultural characteristics and beliefs.
· Professional track-record of successful coaching, mentoring and being a positive role-model.
· Extensive experience facilitating groups and handling difficult conversations.
· Understanding of family support and strengthening.
· Understanding trauma informed care and trauma informed response.
· Ability to understand and implement the Five Protective Factors.
· Divergent thinking when seeking resources, tools and programs.
· Ability to work with families on financial management, budgeting and increasing income.
· Ability to be a team player and work with diverse professionals.
· Self-Confident with the ability to empower with non-judgment.
· Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and time management/ organization skills.
· Must demonstrate excellent technological/computer skills and must be comfortable with managing different database systems and meeting multiple deadlines.
· Involvement with human services, community services and knowledge of resources within the Pueblo community such as mental health, substance abuse treatment centers, Housing, adult education, etc.
· Ability to work and handle crisis and secondary trauma.
· Excellent at tracking and keeping clear documentation
· Recruits participants to the program.
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Nurturing Parenting Program Coordinator.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
· Ability to work with diverse populations.
· Independent worker who can work alone as well as with a team.
· Strong public speaking and experience presenting to small and large groups of people.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Excellent time management skills and highly organized.
· Detailed and accurate record-keeper. Excellent at tracking and keeping clear documentation
· Knowledgeable of resources in the community. Existing working relationships with key resource agencies strongly preferred.
· Ability to cope with and quickly resolve conflict and/or crisis situations.
· Strong technological/computer skills.
· Comfortable with remote work and technology like Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
· Highly responsive and respectful to requests for information from staff and supervisors.
· Creative, compassionate, energetic and dynamic.
Education and Experience:
Education: Associate’s degree in business or related field required, bachelor’s degree preferred. A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience may serve as a substitute for the educational requirement.

Pay: $37,999.00 - $38,000.00 per year
