This Family Skills Coach will:

• provide in-home services to families to prevent the removal of children and promote long-term stability of the family.
• use a wide variety of educational approaches to assist youth and family members in achieving stability, self-sufficiency and permanency
• develop, review and evaluate family goals on a regular basis
• prepare reports for court as required and prepare regular updates for case managers
• provide crisis intervention to families

KVC staff members have the flexibility to manage their own time to create a positive work-life balance and there will be evening and weekend work required as well as travel time to visit families in their homes.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Associate's degree plus two years experience in human services or related field.
• A Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Exception to education requirement may be considered with relevant and significant personal and/work professional experience.

Licensure/Certification:

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
