Overview:
Supervisor will supervise a unit of case planners who will provide services to families under the Family Connections model. Under the general direction of the Program Director, the Casework Supervisor shall serve as a line supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervisors will ensure that the case planners meet with assigned families once a week for one hour in the home. Supervisors will coach, support, and guide case planner through the implementation and delivery of the Family Connections model.
  • Supervisor will ensure that all components and stages of the Family Connections model will be followed beginning with the one business day contact, going up to the evaluation of change.
  • Supervisor will continuously assess for risk and safety factors. They will ensure that we provide quality services to families.
  • Supervisor will ensure case planners deliver one hour of change focused intervention weekly with each family.
  • Supervisor will ensure that case planner progress notes are entered within 5 days of the contact and follow the Family Connections template. Each case will be reviewed with case planner a minimum of one per month. Progress notes will be reviewed in preparation for case review. It is the Supervisors responsibility to review the timelines to make sure all fidelity measures are being met, as well as every child being seen.
  • Supervisor will provide individual staff supervision once a week. This supervision will be documented in two ways through case review and individual log (focusing on staff development), which encompasses the coaching methodology of Family Connections. Supervisors will also conduct weekly group supervision for their unit.
  • Supervisors will enter supervisory progress notes into CONNX within three weeks of the occurrence of the event. They will follow the supervisor note template which encompasses many of the Family Connection criteria as well as SCS procedures.
  • Supervisor will ensure that the intake process is followed through on within correct timelines. Once a case is assigned the case planner must make contact within one business day. Supervisor must insure that all intakes forms and appropriate documentation
  • Supervisor are expected to communicate with ACS personnel, case manager, PPRS liaison officers, school personnel, court officials and other mental health professionals, as needed
  • Supervisors attendance is a critical factor as it sets an example for workers, as well as provides stability for the units. However, their schedule must include flexibility as this is not always a 9a-5p position
  • To attend and serve as a member of the supervisor and management team. Supervise interns as assigned and other job-related tasks and duties.
Qualifications:
MSW degree and 3 years post master's experience at a Preventive Service agency or 5 years' experience at a human service agency. Clinical skills in relation to troubled children and families and the ability to perform supervisory functions are required.

Annual Salary $70,000.00
