Transend MSO, Inc. provides administrative support to New Oakland Family Centers, a comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse provider for consumers across Michigan, in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

Location: Assigned home site; Daily travel to other NOFC locations in a company vehicle

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or other full-time equivalent

Reports To: President / Director of Operations / Business Operations Supervisor / Maintenance Lead

Compensation: $20-24/hour. Commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The Facilities Technician is a full-time position that supervises, schedules, and performs skilled technical and preventive maintenance functions in all New Oakland buildings and grounds. This also included completing maintenance checklist functions and equipment repairs. This position will be office-based and will include travel to various New Oakland offices. A company vehicle will be provided for use during working hours.

Essential Duties / Functions:

  • Assists Maintenance leader with establishing job standards and procedures in accordance with established policies.
  • Travels from site to site to help resolve maintenance related issues or upgrades.
  • Ensures a safe environment for employees and clients.
  • Needs to be able to work flexible hours based on needs.
  • Requires ability and experience to perform maintenance and repair functions in the following areas: painting and staining, drywall repair and installation, plumbing repair and drain cleaning, light bulb replacements, routine site checks and facilities management systems.
  • Moving/organizing furniture.
  • Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Analyze supply needs and order inventory, report equipment outages and breakdowns, and other problems to supervisory personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Fulfillment of all initial and ongoing training requirements.
  • Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic environment.

Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent. Must have a valid driving license and approved driving record.

Working Conditions: Staff is to dress professionally at all times following dress code policy. Work is performed indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
