Facilities Maintenance
As part of a five-person team, this role maintains building operations and ensures that the facilities are safe and functional for our multiple properties.
- Routine building maintenance
- Address and repair plumbing and electrical systems
- Assist in maintaining the building HVAC equipment
- General painting
- Take preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future issues
- Address potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of one year performing maintenance and facilities work
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems
- .Carpentry skills to conduct basic repairs and projects
- Landscaping and snow removal
- Possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physical labor. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Valid MA driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Your ability to respond to immediate facilities needs off hours, emergencies, and other urgent property related incidents is part of this position. Our work is unpredictable so the ability to exhibit flexibility and adaptability are important.
- People skills to interact with employees and residents
- Diligence to ensure that all jobs are completed in a high-quality manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Victory Programs requires all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Individuals may request exemption from the vaccine requirement for medical or religious reasons.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) - 7am to 3pm.
Rate: $21-23/hour
