Summary:
Kokosing Construction is looking to expand our Facility Maintenance Team with a qualified individual to support our many divisions in Ohio and the surrounding states.

  • This is a mainly 1st shift opportunity but there are times of extended hours, some travel and a few weekends, as needed.
  • There may also be a few (very infrequent) overnight stays – typically only 4 or 5 times a year
  • Individual must be highly motivated and self-disciplined to complete tasks, make decisions on their own and fully support the need of each division to keep all facilities fully functional.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
We are a full-service support group for all divisions and are responsible for maintaining and repairing:

  • fuel island repair and inspections,
  • air compressors,
  • generators and lighting,
  • pumping applications,
  • garage doors,
  • hot water systems,
  • related office repairs,
  • construction trailer repairs,
  • connex box structure repairs and maintenance,
  • building repairs and installations, concrete repairs, roof repairs,
  • large air handling units, breathing systems, air quality filtration systems,
  • security, fire suppression systems, building security and access,
  • many other specific project needs.
Equipment used:
  • Forklifts,
  • personnel lifts,
  • rubber tire backhoe and tractors.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • 5 years' documented work experience in the following:
  • HVAC and controls – Boilers – Electricity – Plumbing – General carpentry
  • Our goal is to have the pay scale be reflective of, and support, the candidate's experience level
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be able to pass a drug test,
  • Must have a clean driving record,
  • Meticulous attention to details,
  • Able to communicate with other team members and report directly to the Facility Manager with accurate details,
  • Read and understand drawings, blue prints and equipment specifications,
  • General math skills, computers, welding, hand tools,
  • Must be able to maintain high level of awareness for a busy project work environment.
