AAA USA is looking to fill the position of Extruder Operator in Fargo, North Dakota.

Position Summary:

The Extruder applies butyl to the outside perimeter of the channel.

Essential Job Functions:

• Go up/down a flight of stairs to access mezzanine level at beginning and end of shift and during breaks.
• Remove full channel racks and replace with empty racks. Double tier racks require 10 lbs. Arm racks require 13 lbs. Single tier racks require 30 lbs.
• Feed channel onto the extruder, inspect channel for quality of butyl coverage and move units to assembly hooks in scheduled order.
• Pinch (each hand) 5 lbs. to position butyl to adequately cover each corner and joint.
• Lift 7 lbs. from 7-73 inches, carry 10 feet, place at 22 inches to move channel from the rack onto the extruder.
• Lift 4 lbs. from 22 inches, carry 6 feet, place at 78-98 inches to move channel from extruder to overhead hooks.
• Grip (preferred) 5 lbs. Position 2 on hand tool to clean rollers.
• Bend/Reach to 73" to reach hooks with smallest spacer.
• Must replace the butyl slug occasionally.
• Lift 7 lbs. from 7-73 inches, carry 10 feet, place at 35 inches, then carry 10 feet and place at 85 inches to move channel from racks to extruder to overhead hooks.
• Grip (each hand) 20 lbs. Position 1 to guide the edges of the channel through the extruder
• Lift 14 lbs. from 4-40 inches, carry 50 feet, place at 43 inches to replace butyl slug
• Pull (up) 50 lbs. at 36 inches to open hatch and access butyl cylinder
• Push (down) 15 lbs. at 48 inches to close hatch to butyl cylinder.
• Bend/Reach 0-73 inches to drain old butyl from bottom of manual extruder and reach hooks with the smallest spacer.
• Clean-up work area throughout shift and at end of shift for safety and cleanliness.
• Grip (each hand) 35 lbs. Position 2 on standard push broom, scrap channel and air compressor.
• Pull (down) 20 lbs. at 81 inches to close baler hatch.
