Position Title: HVAC Technician: Maritime Industry

Position Type: Full Time, non-exempt, permanent position

Rate: $33.00-$55.00+ DOE

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:00pm, 30 min unpaid lunch

Overtime: Required as requested by management

Probationary Period: 30 Days

Summary Description:

S3 Maritime has an immediate need to hire experienced HVAC Technician!

S3 Maritime is a leading marine service provider in the Greater Seattle Area, providing solutions to commercial and recreational vessels. S3 Maritime is actively seeking to find HVAC Technicians that are capable of working on all forms of HVAC systems to include: air handlers, hydronic heaters, diesel heaters, condensers, chillers, refrigeration systems, etc.

Experience in the maritime industry is not required, however, we are looking for candidates that are well versed with working on HVAC systems to include having an active EPA II certification.

While most of our work centers around the Greater Seattle Area, we offer mobile services to clients throughout the West Coast and Alaska; and will travel internationally when contracted to do so.

S3 Maritime is currently looking for Experienced Carpenters for the following locations:

S3 Maritime Main Location: Seattle, Washington

Skills & Knowledge:

• Able to effectively use all tools related to HVAC systems
• Experience using specialty tools and charging equipment
• Able to create detailed parts lists and accurate purchasing execution
• Experience distinguishing between repair versus replace
• Able to execute hazmat procedures to safely remove, store, and dispose of fluids/gases
• Experience with new system installation and client familiarization training
• Able to lead a team
• Experience with tool/equipment maintenance/upkeep

• Use ERP software to manage daily work assignments
• Job Costing & Project Reporting
• Administrative paperwork
• Communication with other staff and management
• Professional interaction with customers
• Shop Cleanliness and Organization
• Material Purchasing/ Stocking
