D&B Construction is looking for a commercial Estimator to join our team! A successful Estimator will be detailed oriented and be able to multi-task as this person will typically be estimating multiple projects at a time. This position will be based out of our Philadelphia, PA office.

We have two offices conveniently located in Central and Eastern PA, making for an easy commute from New Jersey and Maryland. Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed estimates in an organized fashion
• Assist team through the bid process
• Draft scopes of work
• Perform quality takeoffs
• Maintain subcontractor and supplier databases
• Assist in buyout process
• Review project plans
• Prepare bid list and submit drawings to subcontractors
• Review project plans, requirements and specs
• Submit product requisitions
• Perform other duties as assigned and required

Competencies:

• Proficiency with Microsoft office

Requirements:

• HS diploma or GED
• 2+ years’ experience in construction estimating
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to travel to job sites if needed
• General contractor and/or multi-family construction experience
• Commercial construction experience

Preferred:

• Previous experience in Procore or similar software
• 5+ years’ experience in construction estimating
