The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to creating an interactive experience for its technology users that is easy, pleasant, effective, and personalized. As part of this commitment, the VA is seeking to improve its efficiency and effectiveness of interactions by transitioning Tier-1, Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) Services to the Prime Contractor’s team. The scope of the ESD is to provide support to all End Users and VA designated executives / VIP End Users, on a 24x7x365 basis.
The Prime Contractor shall serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for VA employees, and VA designated third parties that use or have access to VA approved applications, hardware, software, data, and services that enable to them to conduct daily business. We shall be responsible for the Subcontractor’s ticketing of all approved VA technologies and shall work with the VA’s IT department and appropriate third parties that provide IT support or services to the VA to ensure VA employees, and VA designated third parties are not impeded by, or prevented from, conducting daily business operations due to issues with VA applications, hardware, software, or data networks.
