George B. Wittmer Associates, Inc is looking to hire an experienced One Heavy Equipment Operator with THREE YEARS EXPERIENCE to join our team immediately! We are looking for someone with a clean driving record. We do NOT use forklifts.

Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities:

• Provide support to successful completion of task
• Perform daily Inspection of equipment for any safety and/or mechanical to ensure proper functioning of the equipment
• Inform and advise the management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance
• Operate all heavy equipment like, bulldozers, front-end loaders, excavators, and other related equipment
• Ensure and mange the machines or equipment in a safe and secure way
• Drive and control equipment
• Perform road work, excavation work, lifting work, etc
• Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures, work site or traffic laws
• Report to Foreman
• Following All Company Safety Rules and Procedures
• Be a Team Player

Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications:

• Possess physical strength to operate heavy and power-driver equipment
• Ability to work in teams
• Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and written
• A keen eye to details and good decision making skills
• Manage to handle emergency situations, work pressure, and stress
• Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
• Possess a deep analytical understanding and problem solving skills
• Can work independently with minimum supervision
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Degrees or courses from vocational schools in construction equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
• Punctual
• Ability to follow instructions
