Job Title: Enterprise Application Administrator

Reporting to: Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Application Administrator provides administration expertise across enterprise applications and their related application servers and databases. The position is also responsible for working with enterprise applications that departments use for public sector core business functions. These applications include enterprise resource planning (ERP), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and BPM (Business Process Management) tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, update, tune and diagnose internal and third-party applications
  • Serve as a lead on a variety of application integration issues, including new application deployments, application process automation, and application upgrade combability
  • Leads research and analysis of upcoming technology trends to identify opportunities for recommending improvements and new initiatives
  • Provide functional and technical support for end-users of the assigned enterprise applications, including but not limited to, applying upgrades and patches, ad-hoc querying, data manipulation and managing end user service tickets
  • Reviews and validates changes for impact on application security and integrity posture
  • Develops and maintains documentation of systems, services, processes, and procedures

· Drives root cause analysis, debugging, support, and post-mortem analysis for service interruptions · Proactively identify opportunities to better utilize or expand utilization of existing applications

  • Participate in panels to advise on new application selection
  • Coordinate with application vendors as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school or GED
  • Five (5) years’ experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass the Sandy Springs Police department background check
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Knowledge of change management methodologies used to drive organizational change
  • Understand the workflow and process requirements of business units related to the application.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, be a good listener and work well with a diverse group of customers and IT.
  • Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications.
  • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and complex troubleshooting methods.
  • Ability to work through ambiguous work situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands‐on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Self‐motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time and project management skills.

Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt position. The Enterprise Applications Administrator hours Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm with up to 1 day per week telework after initial training. Additional hours may be required to support Emergency Operations and periodic maintenance.
