Oversee the on-campus and virtual guest experience and other enrollment focused events

  • Daily offerings: on-campus visits, virtual appointments, drive-thru tour.
  • Plan and facilitate all aspects of enrollment events including events with other departments, for incoming or prospective students, and scheduling training needs of the admissions/financial aid/marketing department.
  • Collaborate with different offices on campus; marketing, financial aid, advising, athletics, academic programs, registrar, retention, etc.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of social media and best communication methods.

Assist in the daily management of the enrollment team and help the team reach enrollment goals

  • Utilize Slate to engage prospective students, increase outreach, develop strategic enrollment models, and assist in territory management, and report/query building.
  • Use CNS to continue assessing and meeting enrollment goals.
  • Oversee communication plan creation/updates and work with marketing to develop email, letter, postcard, etc. outreach and marketing materials
  • Assist in graduate admissions as needed
  • Participate in committee review to help make admissions decisions
  • Oversee Choose Ohio First, HOPE Scholars, assist in Like Me, and participate in other strategic enrollment initiatives
  • Identify gaps/challenges and work to provide solutions
  • Work closely with financial aid to provide information to students and families on cost, scholarships, award letters, and other strategic financial aid processes

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed enrollment goals.
  • Develop and implement communications plan; update annually.
  • Track and report progress to recruitment goals and strategic plan initiatives through careful data analysis.
  • Closely collaborate with Athletics to ensure visitors have Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarship information.
  • Closely collaborate with MarCom for recruitment, advertising, and marketing.
  • Closely collaborate with Financial Aid for enrollment, melt, retention and graduation goals.
  • Closely collaborate with Academic Programs to connect prospective students with faculty and program coordinators.
  • Serve as Assessment Liaison for Admissions; conduct all assessment for the office and submit all reports to IPAC.
  • Evening and weekend availability as required for events and communication campaigns.

  • Proven track record of success meeting or exceeding annual goals.
  • History of supervising or otherwise leading teams of professionals in a recruitment, sales, or fundraising environment.
  • Demonstrated history of effective teamwork both within and outside of one’s own department or area.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of social media and best communication methods.
  • Able to see the big picture regarding recruitment and how all the components interact/complement each other.
  • Experience planning higher education events including scheduling, inviting, communication, marketing, evaluating, etc.
