The Selected Engineering Manager will:
- Champion team growth initiaves - with the goal of growing from 20 developers to 60 total in the next 2 years.
- Identify potential leaders within the group, and provide ample training and mentorship to promote from within.
- Navigate the use and implementation of new technologies in an agile working environment, including hands on coding as much as needed for the team.
- Drive the multi-year roadmap for HR & People Technology, while leading the development and configuration of new people technologies.
- Lead & Administer of core system, driving configurations & data connections for all core talent processes.
- Lead transition from waterfall workflow to agile working environment
- Enhance and improve data governance for all people & downstream systems - benefiting the team.
- Partner with the Offshore Team to drive seamless core talent processes.
- Deliver business systems analysis and collaborate with internal stakeholders to detect root causes of data integrity and drive effective future HR workflows.
- Provide support on applicable HRIS system updates, testing, and maintenance.
- Maintain records and preparing documentation of training programs, scheduling, employee attendance and training program effectiveness.
- Lead functional projects and configuration activities for enhancements, new functionality and bi-annual releases including analysis of impacts.
- Execute system related projects relating to new technologies, key events (e.g. M&A, Reorganizations, etc.) and new policies.
- Ensure Developers adopt and follow the incident, problem, and change management processes as we evolve and mature technology processes across the organization.
- Work with practice leadership to integrate project staffing requirements into late-stage sales opportunities and relevant impending matters.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders focused on accelerating the development of our people.
- Represent company's technology division on national travel up to 10%

The Successful Engineering Manager has:
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience managing technology development teams in a medium to large size business
- Bachelors Degree or higher in a relevant field required
- Experience working with C#/.NET and React or Angular.
- Ability to build rapport and gain trust with all levels of personnel, and high emotional intelligence
- Strong proficiency using Windows and related software such as Microsoft business products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience working with SaaS, and any relevant Agreements, Master Services Agreements, and execution of Statements of Work and Order Forms required
- Strong metrics-focused with ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Ability to think clearly under pressure
- Strong logical reasoning skills
- Aptitude to learn and leverage new technology
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality while balancing needs of business
